CSA Membership

The season begins January 15, 2024

What is a CSA? CSA stands for “community-supported agriculture.” By becoming a member, you not only have the opportunity to receive local, farm-fresh produce directly to your door, but you also have the chance to support a small family-run business. This farm is possible because of the support of our community!

By agreeing to join our CSA, you are also agreeing to read email communications from us

Payments - Each week credit cards are automatically processed two days before delivery or pick up of the share. Failed credit card payments will have until the delivery day to be corrected in order to still receive the weekly share. Cluck it Farm reserves the right to cancel membership if failed transactions become excessive.

Box sizes and values - we offer three weekly produce shares (mini, half and full)

  • Full produce share consists of ten (10) vegetable/microgreen/farm stand items - $55

  • Half produce share consists of six (6) vegetable/microgreen/farm stand items - $35

  • Mini produce share consists of four (4) vegetable/microgreen/farm stand items- $25

  • Eggs can be added for $8/dozen

Example of an item - A bunch of carrots, a bunch of beets, a bunch of turnips, a bunch of kale, a bunch of collard greens, a half-pound bag of greens, a pound of broccoli, 1.5lbs of zucchini, a head of cabbage, etc.

Delivery or Pickup - We offer doorstep delivery to all of Las vegas and henderson for a $6 fee on Thursdays and Fridays (depending on the area of town). We also offer on-farm pick-up for free on Thursdays and Fridays.

Skips and holds - We allow holds during the season if a member will not be home or wishes to skip a week. any shares not picked up will be donated

Refund policy - If you believe you deserve credit for poor quality, damaged, or otherwise unsaleable produce, please email us. We will evaluate cases individually. Be sure to include what day/time you picked up the produce, how it was stored, and pictures if possible. We want to share the best quality produce possible, so your feedback helps us improve our systems and catch issues early on.

cancellation - growing food for our community means we need to know exactly how much to plant at the beginning of the season. as much as our chickens would love to eat an entire bed of lettuce that we don’t have customers for, it isn’t very sustainable for the farm business. because our planting process takes place months before the harvest, we charge a cancellation fee of $100 for any members who CAnCEL without at least 1 week's notice, and if you have not sustained at least 4 weeks of a subscription. there will be a charge of $15 for any cooler bag not returned upon cancellation
